New important plant in Oman

SERVICE & TRADE MARBLE LLC. (FZC), with its headquarters in Muscat, Sultanate of Oman, is a leading Company for the supply of slabs and finished products for interior decoration. SERVICE & TRADE CO. LLC. boasts more than 33 years of activity, during which the Company has supplied top quality products for the realization of important mansions, palaces, five star hotels and luxury commercial and residential districts. Its undisputed competence has enabled SERVICE & TRADE CO. LLC. to spread its activity from the Sultanate of Oman to the whole Middle East area.
SERVICE & TRADE CO. LLC. has recently inaugurated a new marble processing unit, SERVICE & TRADE MARBLE LLC. (FZC), close to Sohar (Oman), with the installation of two new generation lines, one for the production of slabs and one dedicated to tiles.
As far as the water treatment plant and sludge dewatering are concerned, SERVICE & TRADE MARBLE LLC. (FZC) has relied on Fraccaroli & Balzan S.p.A., which, based on decades of experience, has designed, manufactured and installed a system that represents the state of the art in the waste water treatment sector.
The plant pertaining to the SLAB SECTION is constituted as follows.

• Clarifier with a total treatment capacity of 6000 l/min of waste water.
• Filterpress Mod. FB/1000-25 (nr. 25 plates, plate size 1 m x 1 m).

The plant pertaining to the TILE SECTION is constituted as follows

• Clarifier with a total treatment capacity of 4500 l/min of waste water.
• Filterpress Mod. FB/1000-20 (nr. 20 plates, plate size 1 m x 1 m).

Both plants are equipped with vertical anti-abrasive pump for feeding the waste water to the clarifier, fully automatic flocculant station, clean water collection and storage tank and clean water pump group to all utilities. The steel structure of the clarifiers and the clean water storage tanks has been manufactured locally on the basis of construction drawings supplied by Fraccaroli & Balzan S.p.A..
The plants are obviously completely automatic, managed by PLC.
To sum up, an innovative and pioneering plant, a reference of absolute prestige in addition to thousands more installed all around the world in over forty years of activity.
