The horizontal splitting machine SCOOR 40-4, SCOOR 60-6, available in two versions, with four or six diamond discs, divides longitudinally strips of marble or stone taken directly from the block cutter, or coming from slabs sawn by gang saws and subsequently trimmed. It is a machine that ensures both maximum reliability of functioning and extreme easy operating mode.
The bridge vertical movement is obtained throught four precision screws and four bronze screw nuts, located inside the columns. The columns are positioned externally with respect to the axis of the spindles, in order to ensure maximum stability to the structure.
The transmission of motion from the motors to the disc carrying spindles is indirect, through a belt and pulley system. The discs are protected by a safety cover in stainless steel. The height and inclination of each spindle can be adjusted independently.
The splitting machine can be completed by a loading robot, an exfoliator and an unloading robot. |
